White people love ethnic diversity, but only as it relates to restaurants.
Many white people from cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York will spend hours talking about how great it is that they can get Sushi and Tacos on the same street. But then they send their kids to private school with other rich white kids, and live in neighborhoods like Santa Monica or Pacific Palisades.
But it’s important to note that white people to do not like to be called out on this fact. If you run an ethnic restaurant you can be guaranteed repeat business and huge tips if you act like your white customers are adventurous and cultured for eating food that it isn’t sandwiches or pasta.

Avery, the foods are from another country but are viewed as Americanized or not a real culinary experience. LoL! The boom of ethnic restaurants promise to be authentic (and variously regional) Chinese, Mexican, Italian, etc. recipes, is a good idea…but the bad part is the clientele are white and American, either want good food or be “culturally diverse”. +
The “diversity” brainwashing of america is complete – this site proves it. All you sheepeople repeat all the notions that have been feed to you by Big-Brother-Diversity. It wouldn’t be to bad if you had an orginal thought now.
What’s really scary is that a society can be so easily brain-washed. What’s going to happen when “diversity” falls out of fashion and it becomes fashionable to bash people of color instead of white people – the brainwashed sheepeople will switch sides.

I’m going to a Jewish Kosher deli/cafe in Palm Desert, Cal. where you count 1, 2, there’s a Jew out of 10 people. Don’t expect even one Hasidic-garb looking Jew in there, they are overall Americans…or the reality is Jews are like me & yous. Besides, they are a religion where anyone can join…and an ethnic group, the same way to be “black “or “Mexican”… and anyone can join these ethnic groups too(s). +
My parents pretty much reflect everything listed in this blog, to a point at which I might call them the pinnacle of whiteness.
Why post in this entry? My parents love to brag to other adults about how diverse my friends are. They LOVE to tell people I have close friends who are black, Asian, Hispanic, deaf, gay, foreign, or whatever else. All of it is true, sure, but I’ve always been a bit baffled as to why they felt the need to brag about it.
Whenever your parents start bragging about your friendship rainbow, start making really racist jokes, complain about affirmative action, or say Barack Obama is overrated. That’ll shut them up right quick.
Maybe because typical american food sucks? Anybody hungry for some pancakes?

One of the things white people like most is intellectually fashionable guilt, such as that regarding slavery in America, consuming nitrates in processed foods, etc. These worries, combined with frequent purchases of factory-ratty immigrant wear and faux humility, help divert attention from actual guilt engendered by a successful career, the income to afford factory-ratty immigrant wear, and the barely-concealed suspicion that white people are getting ahead, and they’re not supposed to really like that.
BTW, my grandfather was from Italy, and I’m second generation American. Or Italian-American. Not sure what hyphenation is in vogue this week (another thing white people like). Family never had slaves, but I’m working on the fashionable guilt thing so I can try to fit in. Though I’m not white. I’m kind of bronze. And hairy.
BTW pt. 2, people ranting about black slavery in America are ignoring, or are ignorant of, white European slavery conducted by blacks roughly 1500-1800 A.D. Victimes numbered in the millions. Google it, read it, and weep over your fashionable guilt. Then have a Starbucks. It’ll help. Have a Fair Trade coffee and it’ll be even better.
seriously is anyone actually white… i’m kinda creamy coloured and have no guilt over slavery… like my ethnic food, but don’t feel cultured for liking it. have black and asian nabours, my best friend is black, my daughter doesn’t go to a private school and all i can wonder is why i have to justify being a non racist white… or should i say why i should prove i’m not… I’m sick of people slating white people, white ethics, white guilt and thinking thats not racist!

I believe the point trying to be made here is that there was once a land bridge that connected Alaska and Russia. You see Ancient Humans used to migrate all the the time in search for food. On their quest for food took them over then land bridge and in to the North America Continent.
The Vikings came to North America as well, but their endevers took them into Canada, around the islands of Newfoundland and Green Land.
During the time of Columbus everyone thought the world was flat. Also, Europeans wanted to find an easier way to trade with Asia. That is where Columbus came in. There are other details that would not fit in this block of space. So, that said, Columbus set out into the vast ocean and he eventually set foot on to the new world. When he returned, his journey was the first to be recorded.
We celebrate Columbus Day, not because Columbus was the first human being to discover America, but because he was the first person to WRITE A REPORT about it, and turn it in to his investors. White people like written reports on stuff. Don’t know why it isn’t on the list, they do, along with committees (as a way to solve problems not in their own back yards).
I think we should celebrate james earl ray’s birthday for his great accomplishments, better yet let’s have a whole month dedicated to white people and their great achievments
i agree there is a hispanic history month black history month breast cancer awareness month i think we need a white month. ohhh and whats this crap on tv shows when there are a bunch of black ppl and the one white person is a dumbass? what is that!!!! that really grinds my gears!!!!

Nobody celebrates Columbus Day anymore, it’s only for a few Italians in New York. The holiday was “racist” named for a white guy showed up in 1500 America, and told the Europeans to come on over and destroy these people he encountered called “Indians”. Columbus isn’t the only one, nor he thought of colonialization, and you should thank Fernando Cortez, Francisco Pizarro, Magellan, Cabrillo, de Soto, de Anza, Junipero Serra, etc. for the rest. +

The only problem is, the white people living today are beneficiaries of the priveledges earned by their slave owning grandfathers. Yes, I said it, your grandfathers. Because your grandfathers owned slaves and didn’t pay them fair wages, your family was able to earn large amounts of money over a long period of time. How do you think most of the fortune 500 companies got their start?
Because of the actions of your grandfathers, you are afforded the opportunity to get good jobs (my father is friends with so-and-so so he got me in the door). The same goes for education. Because blacks were not given the opportunity to go to school or even read for that matter, their sons and daughters were not able to read or go to school – all the while your grandfathers and grandmothers were in school learning things and going to college. This set blacks back academically while whites progressed – you bear the fruit of that today.
Now white people, do me a favor and look around the office you work in. Do you see many black people? If so, what position do they hold? You will probably find that most of the blacks who work in your office are admins. Do you think this is because black people are not smart enough to hold higher level positions? If that is what you think than we may as well be living in the stone age. But if you do not believe that, than there is only one other answer – whites do not give blacks equal opportunity. And without equal opportunity we simply can not, as Columbia said, “Get The Fuck Over It!”
As for your comment about white people having what they have today because of a “jump start” due to our grandfathers owning slaves, can I just say HELLO????? You need to do your homework and realize that most people’s grandfather’s, including my own, did NOT own slaves and most of my ancestors who owned a lot of land MANY YEARS AGO sold that land and we today have nothing to show for it. Everything my grandparents and my parents owned was from their own hard work!!
You really need to stop with the stupid excuses and quit making things up to make yourself feel better. All this about “look around where you work” blah blah blah … that is just retarded. Black people today have just as many opportunities as whites, if not more due to being a minority and having minority rights, so there is no excuse why blacks don’t have even more than whites. Simple historical fact is, Brazil & the various West Indies, imported most of the Africans during the Atlantic slave trade years. And far more, prior to that, amongst your own African tribes.

I hate to inform you that even if we currently don’t own any slaves, we still benefit to this day from slavery. All that free labor built up America’s economy to where it is now. You also have to think logically. According to Nozick’s entitlement theory, you’re entitled to what you have as long as nowhere in the chain nobody was wronged. My ancestors did own slaves. They got rich off that labor and sent their kids to college and reinvested their easy-earned profits to make even more money. What I have today is illegitimate but it’s okay. I still sleep well at night.

We’re not even really upset about the thousands of other f***ed-up things that have happened since then (the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment, genocide, the treatment of Black soldiers overseas, Black children that take missing that the authorities don’t even ANNOUNCE, Jim Crow laws, exploitation, Jena 6, police brutality, etc.).
