White people love ethnic diversity, but only as it relates to restaurants.
Many white people from cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York will spend hours talking about how great it is that they can get Sushi and Tacos on the same street. But then they send their kids to private school with other rich white kids, and live in neighborhoods like Santa Monica or Pacific Palisades.
But it’s important to note that white people to do not like to be called out on this fact. If you run an ethnic restaurant you can be guaranteed repeat business and huge tips if you act like your white customers are adventurous and cultured for eating food that it isn’t sandwiches or pasta.

Awe, Im actually upset with this blog… I put up a huge fight with a deabate group from my school about making “jewish schools” and “black schools” and segregating people because I, a WHITE teenage girl, believe diversity is important… intergration is important. I love the foods yes… but I love the people too. This one is slightely insulting. Diversity is a good thing all around.
Well…try to put in some more time and effort on spelling…you know, diversify your skill set?
Diversity is hogwash. The mere fact it needs to be enforced to work, bares this through. That and the fact you cant have ‘racist’ and interracial violence without it.
Its a failed social ideology. You lemming.
Put in the trash with all the used “race cards” not to be recycled, but don’t forget to segregate the paper, plastic and glass. Diversity is to replace the uglier ideology of white racism, though classism made a comeback in the 80s. White liberals should thank Reaganomics for that one. +

I live in Australia which is prodomanitly white with some Asian but very few black people. Because there was no slavery and Australia and it is a very young country. it kind of sucks like that, though I noticed it is changing. The great thing about Australians is there’s not really that sort of underling racism, however an African person may attract some attention simply for the fact there are so few in Australia.

Just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean it isn’t there. I’m sure an aborigine would tell you a very different story.
The most diversity I’ve seen (not just in restaurants) was when I went to Montana and I actually saw black people on an almost-daily basis. Then I was like ‘what the fuck why does this scare me’ and then I realized ‘oh yeah, my town’s 95% white’ and I felt so white that it was kind of painful.
Californians move to Montana, Idaho and Wyoming (the US census said are the 3 fastest growing states) for being the exact sociopolitical opposite. The reasons: low taxes is one, open space is two and “no diversity” is on the top list. But in the winter time, they buy a second home in the warmer desert states of Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico. What about the Pacific Northwest where the whites can’t stop going to? Seattle and Portland is so 1990′s, they head over to “trendier” Provo, Utah or Boulder, Colorado. +
Yeah its funny that white people in big cities think they are the only ones with diversity. If you go to the country you will find lots of non-whites who listen to country and vote republican.
I strongly disagree. I lived in the country for a couple years and there was only about 5% minority in my city as well as the surrounding ones. Maybe in the southeast USA there’s more blacks in the boondocks, but in the midwest and southwest the country is mostly white folks with horribly out of date style that drive pick up trucks. LOL
The last part on the Southwest changed overnight “gracias gringos por sus necessitos los mas trabajadores peons ilegales”. I guess you meant in the mountainous parts of the Southwest, the kind of white people belong to the border watch minutemen militias. It turns out they are of Spanish descent (Hispanos) who don’t identify with Mexicans, esp. in the Taos/Santa Fe valleys, New Mexico. +

I also say fuck diversity. Any white douche bag who goes on about how they love diversity never lived w/anyone other than other whites. These morons usually went to all white schools, lived around otehr whites and couldn’t tell you the difference between Italians and Irish let alone black Americans (that’s right, BLACK AMERICANS) and Island blacks.
I hate fucking diversity and I have lived in NYC my entire life. Ask any white person living in this city their entire life and they if they have the balls, they will tell you the same thing.

I don’t have no qualms about it. and I don’t try to act multicultural, while really I’m just a fake. no, I don’t fake it – I’m unashamedly white. multiculturalism is for ultra do-gooder liberals that don’t have a clue. I’m not saying I hate other types of people, I’m only saying I don’t sell myself out to the “let’s all be politically correct” idocracy.

For white people, talking about race is more uglier or disturbing than talking about sex. We’re entering a new dark age (pardon, Victorian age) and the country of Niger in Africa may have to be renamed, the same way maps from 150 years ago had geographically incorrectly drew Florida not to look like a … peninsula (which it is!), look at the bosom-shaped (oops) place. ha i go to one of those private schools… we have assemblies almost every week about how to “diversify” our school and our “diversity” banquet is everyone getting together and eating different foods, while the actual minorities are in the corner laughing at them… white people are so funny
Do they have a vegetarian selection? White people are the ones who don’t eat meat. It must be fully organic. Can’t have peanuts. Must be free-range. Low-or No-Carbs. And pork is banned for being offensive to certain religions, like the half-Jewish kid may start suing people (how racist) or the Islamic kid may start blowing up the cafe (even more racist). The politically correct, multi-culti, diverse cafe (must be 50% black or “colored”) served by…non-white workers. +
