What the heck is the world coming to (Gersh nab it!) The Bamster goes over to lobby for the Olympics and the Olympic committee doesn’t go for it? Excuse me; they aren’t persuaded by the Bamster’s mastery of the spoken word? I’m telling you, everyone is saying, “No” to the Bamster these days. The main thing though is that he looking very Presidential (cough).

Let’s imagine for a second that it was W. Bush (the crowed hisses), not B.O., who went overseas to try and convince the Olympic committee to have the Olympic Games in Dallas Texas. Then let’s assume that W. had a whole host of old friends and business acquaintances back in Dallas who stood to gain massively from all the construction and government handouts who also happened to have helped W. into the White House. Also, let’s assume that when W. took off to lobby for said Olympics the country just shed another 265,000 jobs and faced a wide range of serious world challenges. What would have been the response from the press? How about from the left?

I hope B.O. is enjoying the hiatus that the press has taken from serious reporting. At some point some little kid is going to shout, “Hey, that’s just a suit with nothing in it!” And the game will be all over.

Would you rather he fly’s to a texas ranch to clear brush and watch baseball. Or take half a day out of his time to try to bring the Biggest event in the world to the United states. What are you unamerican It’s not about Chicago It’s about the US Jackass!!

Appreciate your deep thoughts ….

My point was to highlight the stark difference in the way the press covered B.O.’s trip overseas and how the press would have covered the same trip had W. Bush made it. B.O.’s trip, “May” have been about getting the Olympics for America as you suggest OR it may be about B.O. paying back a whole gaggle of friends, business acquaintances and cronies in Chicago for helping to get him elected. The (Mainstreem) press decided that you didn’t need to know about the pay back angle of the trip.

Flying around the world and acting like a (bad) cheerleader has normally been considered un-presidential. Think of it this way, as President of the U.S. you have a given amount of power and influence, it’s been called, “Political capital.” Think of it like money, you have a certain amount and than that’s it. B.O.’s problem is that his political capital has about run out. The reason for his bankruptcy is that he has been wasting his political capital arguing with talk show hosts, playing hoop in his undershirt, and talking with anybody about everything. Now, world leaders don’t take him seriously. Increasingly, domestic leaders don’t take him seriously either.

there’s one thing for sure, even if what you say is true (and it’s not), the libertarians and the republicans do not have ANYONE to stand up and challange Obama.

So you can spin your wheels and tell us all the negative aspects of this administration, but if Americans are still hating the republicans even more (and they do, as evidence that the republican party’s popularity rating is still in the 20% range…and no one cares what libertarians say…their popularity is below 5%), then the next question comes to mind:

Who cares what naysayers (who’ve had 8 years in office to make changes and they did not) say? He’s still the president and no one is listening to republicans or/and libertarians.

Why are you not saying something that is relevant paulie4, instead of giving us your warmed over repetitions of a past FAILED solutions from a past failed administration).

Farkie, why am I not saying something that is relevant? I’ve been writing about our country being taken in a direction leading to greater government control, less freedom, fewer opportunities and greater danger from foreign adversaries. The future of our country is relevant, I think.

Question: Why do you bring up Libertarians all the time, who around here is a Libertarian?

You wrote: “[you] Do not have ANYONE to stand up and challenge Obama” In a way that’s true. Although, it’s been ten months and B.O. has accomplished nothing, so someone must be challenging B.O.! Also, the fact that a strong and popular Republican leader has not come on the stage yet is no reason to stop discussing ideas. The point is that the stage has been set, now we are simply waiting for an entrance.

Let’s discuss your assertion that the Bush administration was a “Failed administration,” which has become a kind of mantra from you. I understand the appeal of slogans, etc, but why don’t you be specific, what failed?

Also, the argument that another administration was worse than the current and therefore we should silence ourselves and stop discussing the dangers of the current is a very, very week argument. W. Bush is not the President. B.O. is the President and he alone must answer to the failings we are seeing.

By the way and on a lighter note, I thought that S.N.L. did a nice job of summing up B.O.’s time in office this last weekend.

Link to S.N.L. skit: http://mygloss.com/buzz/2009/10/05/snl-skit-on-obama-funny-or-too-close-to-home/

On another lighter note, 10 months down, 3 years 2 months to go. Plenty of time to correct whatever mistakes made so far by the Obama administration.

So goes Obama, so goes America. We wish the best for our president.

I wonder if you’ve heard of HR-45? I’m just mentioning this is passing, I don’t think (Wishful thinking?) that the bill has any chance of becoming a law. HR-45, sponsored by IL Congressman bobby Rush, (D) has been dubbed, “the gun confiscation bill” and while that might be a little extreme the bill, if read and taken at face value, is radical and would probably be found to be unconstitutional if it was to become law.

I’ve left posts here contending that the B.O. administration as well as the leadership in Congress have a socialist agenda. This is to say that B.O. and Congress have a vision for America where the government assumes an increasing role in our lives by removing responsibility for much of our lives from us and replacing what was once our responsibility with government control …all for our own good of course.

I’ve posted about health care, cap and trade, the takeover of the auto industry, the dividing of Americans, etc, etc but HR-45 is a new one, a more blatant assault on American freedoms, specifically the freedom for everyone to defend him or herself and the freedom to, should all else fail, take up arms with fellow Americans against an oppressive government. These were the reasons that founders of our nation wrote the second amendment in the first place. The second amendment reads:

“A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”

But, in fact, the right to bare arms is being infringed upon by Democrats from coast to coast.

HR-45 is a bill which would require, as a minimum, the following:

H.R. 45 establishes a NATIONAL gun registry database overseen by the Federal Government of every gun and its owner — for the whole county. Your private information and every gun you own would be in the system.

* Invokes Draconian penalties for bookkeeping errors related to the Federal Firearms Database.

* Gun owners must pass a written exam.

* Release your medical records — including confidential mental health records — to the government to get your “fitness” to own a firearm approved.

* Bans all private firearms sales and maximizes penalties.

*Imposes a tax to buy a firearm.

And much more.

I believe that this bill, HR-45, is just part of an overall vision that the current Democrat leadership has for America. Greater dependency upon government results in greater power for politicians and less freedom for us.

Look up HR-45 …find out what our Democrats are up to!

I think HR. 45 is way too lenient.

Why is that? Splain!

All the points you make as draconian and an imposition are really just common sense. Too many handgun deaths in the US already.

You know, I’m starting to feel an awful lot like Author, King of the Britton’s. I’m lopping off your arms and legs, you’re coming back with snappy yet strange retorts like, “It’s only a flesh wound!” and now I’m trotting off with you yelling in the background!

You must have a better defense for wanting to do away with a right granted all Americans under the constitution than, “to many handgun deaths in the U.S. already”? How about something along the lines of, “Guns were only meant to be owned by people in militias?” That would be good one! You’d have to get past the recent Supreme Court ruling that reestablished the people’s right to own guns …but still, it would be a start!

Does a person have a right to defend him or her self or must they give up this right to the government? Is it even possible, (The answer is no) for the government to protect all the people from physical harm? Would more harm come to the people if every thug knew that every person was helpless OR if people simply were allowed to protect themselves? If it is not possible for the government to protect the people than must everyone simply be resigned to be prayed upon by the thugs of the world? Do people have no right to arm themselves against a repressive government or must they just go along with whatever comes along?

Why are the Democrats so intent on removing the right to bare arms from the people?

Would you be just as willing to do away with say the right of free assembly because far too often in the U.S. when people get together innocents get hurt? Are more people hurt because of handguns or because a free assembly? How about doing away with freedom of speech, speech can cause lots of problems you know?

I could go on and on with these questions!

“Too many hand gun deaths in the U.S. already”? ….. I know, I know, if I come back you’ll bite my legs off ….

u basically just took about 3 or 4 paragraphs to giving a good explanation to why stupid people should own guns?!
are you actually seriously being an american citizen saying that guns have improved your society?

you have basically just said that guns solve gun crime

I can see by your lack of an argument with any substance that this topic is not your cup of tea.

We’ll just drop it and move on…

I know like 3 parody songs about me sang by the opposition in the conservative right, some of them seem to be tinged with racism or poke fun at my stupidity.
1. “Michael, Ooooo-muh.muh.muh.muh.-Michael, Michael lets men cum in his mouth & I take it up the ass.”
2. “There was a black man with a dick in my mouth, he pulls it out and slaps my face with it oh”.
and 3. “Sweaty-balls, In my mouth, I love to suck sweaty dicks”. +

How true you were.

I don’t care if Obama was purple with polka dots, I wouldn’t like him and if I was blind, I still wouldn’t like him. Some suggest that it was the use of making white people feel guilty that got him elected. The only time I feel guilty is if it is something I did. My ancestors weren’t even in America until the turn of the last century…how does that make me responsible for slavery.

Unbeknownest to all of US in the PRESENT…we are ALL slaves to this wretched mockery of a government. We need to restore the Declartion of Independence and put average every day Americans in office! Not thugs, panders, thieves, and community organizers (mafia).

As for paulie4: keep up the thought provoking challenges. I agree with on the Starbucks pamphlets. I was struck by them too…and have them still. They are selling it hard and people are buying it.

The leaders of this world are creating the perfect storm to cause fear and panic. Why? To turn this nation around on a dime and control the masses and to deflate America. It is all snake oil being sold to the ignorant fools of Passamiquady. I am not buying it.

1. “O-baaa-mah, Ooooo-baaah-mah, Obama come & he go to the white house”
2. “There was a black man elected pres and Obama was his name oh”.
and 3. “O-ba-ma, my lord, O-ba-ma, oh lord, O-ba-ma”. +

Never heard them, shut the fuck up.+

Nothing New says: “We need to restore the Declartion of Independence and put average every day Americans in office! Not thugs, panders, thieves, and community organizers (mafia).”

Who do you think these people are? They are average every day americans who were ELECTED by average every day americans to office.

If all of these elected officials are “thugs, panders, thieves, and community organizers (mafia)”, then what does that says about the people who elected them into office?

This is probably one of the most ignorant comments back that I have read.
You think America is so innocent when it isn’t.
You think that these people were put in office by the choice of America? Ha! Just like George W. Bush won over Florida. Bull fucken shit.
This entire government is a scam. Completely invented by these “higher power” people to give all of us something to do.
Why have I never heard of Obama before the elections? Shit, I’d rather vote for my crack head neighbors than someone we were given as “a choice.”

Don’t be a fool, open your eyes.

You’re government is lying, and you’re taking it hard up the ass.

Hey Ilona, who the fuck cares what your comments are on Obama. You don’t even live in the US. And I bet that whatever country you live in, your economy is more fucked up than ours.

Don’t be an asswipe and comment on things you don’t know jack-s**t about.

Unless he is from zimbabwe, USA will have a worse economy.

you, jono, are the example of a white person who’ve never been out of the United States.

geez.

LOL you need money, power, and the support of the status quo to be able to run for major office. and average americans dont fit that. furthermore, average americans dont vote for the president. our vote has no weight in the election. the electoral college chooses the president. go read some books and take some classes.

Everyone’s vote counts! Alive or dead, real or a cartoon character, sober or drunk, American or Mexican, pimp or prostitute! You can even vote a few times! Just ask the people over at ACORN.

So, the popular vote effects the Electoral College and the Electoral College effects the elections outcome.

the United States of America is a Democratic REPUBLIC.
the United States of America is NOT a Democracy.

there’s a difference. Look it up.

I go to Starbucks all the time, at least twice a day ….I know, I’m going to loose my amateur standing … Well, some time ago I was at Starbucks when I spotted a little brochure put out by Starbucks called something like, “Conversation starters.” The one I picked up was all about global warming. As I waited, I started to read and I was blown away. I don’t think I’ve read a more factually inaccurate brochure in my life, and that’s saying something. I carried that brochure around for months reading it and re-reading it. Checking facts, reading it again. I finally tossed it one day when I was cleaning my briefcase but I still think about it, obviously.

I guess the thing that got me was thinking that people actually believe the kind junk science that was presented as fact The current administration is in the process of changing the way we all live in major ways based on the idea that mankind is warming the earth. I don’t believe that mankind is warming the earth but I do believe that the kind of policies that the administration could put in place BASED ON stopping global warming, fits right into a leftist view of how society should operate, i.e. government should control business.

Studying global warming has been kind of a hobby of mine for a long time. Let me pass on just a couple of facts, so that you’ll have some frame of reference when you hear someone say that you’ve got to change your life and live a certain way because of global warming.

If I was to ask the question, “What gas makes up most of the greenhouse gases on planet earth?” what would your answer be? The answer is … water vapor. Of all the greenhouse gases on earth, water vapor accounts for 95%. The remaining 5% of greenhouse gases are composed of methane, nitrous oxide, “other” and the much demonized carbon dioxide (CO2). Most pro man-made global warming sites leave out the fact that water vapor rules the earth’s warming system and instead try to paint CO2 as the primary greenhouse gas.

Of all the greenhouse gasses CO2 accounts for 3.618% of the total. But CO2 is not just created by humans, it’s also produced naturally. Every living thing produces CO2 and it’s also created by forest fires and volcanoes and the like. So the question becomes, if CO2 gas accounts for 3.618% of the total, and that number is a mix of man-made and naturally produced gasses, what is the percent of all greenhouse gasses that are manmade CO2 gas? The answer? .28%.(Point 28%) Source: Water Vapor Rules the Greenhouse System. http://www.geocraft.com/WVFossils/greenhouse_data.html

Mankind does not even produce one half of one percent of the total amount of earth’s greenhouse gasses.

Cap and trade, all the regulations to increase fuel emissions, the entire global warming movement, etc, are all attempts to reduce (Reduce not eliminate) that .28% number. Thank about that.

All this writing on a subject that only people with a monetary interest would be concerned about. paulie4 seems to be a libertarian who invests in companies that may be regulated by cap and trade regulations.

BORING.

Thank about that.

My friend, YOU have a monetary interest! Cap and Trade legislation which has already been passed by the Democrats in the House would add (As a minimum) $1,761 a year to your energy bill Treasury Dept Analysis. Source:http://www.newsmax.com/headlines/cap_and_trade/2009/09/17/261416.html .

Additionally, the higher energy costs created by Cap and Trade will be reflected in everything you buy. Also, higher energy costs in the U.S. would give every nation not policing the energy market an economic advantage which would move more U.S. jobs overseas.

But you have more than just a monetary interest, you have a freedom interest. Yes, some people are real environmentalists, they really do have a deep desire to care for the earth but for every one of them there are ten others who want to USE the environmental movement to advance their own ideology.

People who hate industry, people who believe in one world government, people who need their business competitor dealt an economic blow, entire countries who want to gain an economic advantage, people who believe in more government, the college that wants to keep the funding coming and on and on. I woke up this morning and saw a BMW commercial announcing, “BMW Green Days!” Buying a BMW helps save the earth? No, BMW (And many others) simply see an advantage in advancing environmentalism.

Everyone has an idea about how other people should live. Many today are using environmentalism as leverage to force others to live they way they desire. I believe that this is contrary to the principles upon which our country was founded.

Please read the summary of the IPCC 4th report.

The report was prepared by 1200 of the leading climate scientists in the world and stated that based on the EVIDENCE, that man made emissions have caused a rise in global temperatures and that temperatures will continue to rise if emissions are not controlled. These people have no political agenda but are in agreement based on facts they have all seen.

Even if you don’t believe in science, you surely must see that oil will run out within this generation’s life time. You might be too lazy to change your lifestyle to a more sustainable one, but if we want to preserve any sort of modern way of life in the future we must start finding new energy sources and increase efficiency NOW. The shift away from fossil fuels will be slow so we need to get moving ASAP so we avoid biggest shock in the history of modern civilization in the near future when energy becomes too expensive.

Yesterday was a great day at the U.N., the U.S. President took time to tell the world that America was abandoning its leadership role (In so many words) and Gadhafi took some time to ask questions such as, “Why did Jack Ruby kill Oswald?” It was hard to know who to love more, the wimp or the nut? The NY Times made its decision, this morning they are running with a big photo of Gadhafi. ….you’ve got to love em.

I remember that before the election I used to ask B.O. supporters about B.O.’s qualifications for the job and after fumbling field trips into the murky waters of, “Community organizing” the typical person would eventually say, “Well, Obama will surround himself with the very best people he can find!”

ooookay. Well the people surrounding Obama today have one thing in common, they were chosen to achieve a political end and by and large they are one bizarre bunch.
Enter on stage right the Barkley Professor Steven Chu. B.O. picked him for the Energy Secretary slot. Nice guy, has a lot of very strong beliefs …here’s one of them.

On gas prices: “Mr. Chu has called for gradually ramping up gasoline taxes over 15 years to coax consumers into buying more-efficient cars and living in neighborhoods closer to work. “Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe,’ Mr. Chu, who directs the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in California, said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal in September.”

Steven Chu is not interested in your freedom, he’s interested in you living a certain way. In fact, Chu believes that if you are left to make your own choices in life you’ll chose to live, “In the wrong way.” Chu thinks you need some government guidance so that you’ll live correctly. He’s out to change the way you live. People who believe that in liberal governments the people get more, not less freedom, take note.

Steven Chu was picked by B.O. because Chu is a global warming nut. Global warming fits directly in the greater B.O. objective of controlling business.

Steven Chu was in the news today, 9/23/09. I’ll give you a few direct quotes and then give you the link to the full story:

From the Wall Street Journal: Steven Chu: Americans Are Like ‘Teenage Kids’ When It Comes to Energy

“The American public…just like your teenage kids, aren’t acting in a way that they should act,” Dr. Chu said. “The American public has to really understand in their core how important this issue is.”
Full Story: http://blogs.wsj.com/environmentalcapital/2009/09/21/steven-chu-americans-are-like-teenage-kids-when-it-comes-to-energy/

To make sure your children are educated correctly and in accordance with government wishes, the administration aims to teach them—literally. The Environmental Protection Agency is focusing on real children (As opposed to you who are only acting like a child). Partnering with the Parent Teacher Organization, the agency earlier this month launched a cross-country tour of 6,000 schools.

Our freedoms are under attack. Get pissed off!

Words of wisdom Paulie4.
It is said truth requires 2 : one to speak, and one to listen. You have an understanding of things that are not yet in the public mind, seem to be falling further from the public mind, and hint at the atrocities of the past coming home to roost even darker and more terrible in their new incarnation.

On the bright side those who try to deny the truths you speak of and other related truths (the undeniable evil of the Federal Reserve (The worlds wealthiest legitimized crime syndicate) for example) have already fallen from well written plagiarized rebuttals to challenging truth with dubious statistics, and have now fallen to the level of name calling (right wing nut job, conspiracy theorist and the like), and of course comparing you to those whos political views seem in some way vaguely reminiscent of your statements.

The Truth is: It doesn’t matter. You have FOX News, NBC, MSNBC and the other puppet publications doing their best to present a front of divergent viewpoints, all the while spewing the same propaganda…the Global Warming scam is a great example. It’s being shovelled down our throats by both “left” and “right” sources, and who’s out there giving air to the well respected scientists who dare speak out against the theory (for example the HUNDREDS of scientists who have been dismissed from the UN for voicing their scepticism at the shoddy “science” used to promulgate the theory)? Not a one. And it still doesn’t matter.

The real issues such as how socialism caused the current healthcare crises (that it’s now being offered as the solution to), how socialized education (DoE) has taken the US from #1 in the world to #27 (that it’s now being offered as the solution to), how socialist business regulation that was proposed to protect the US from monopolies (the New Deal) virtually garunteed them, how the Minimum Wage is responsible for the majority of poverty in the US (A man with $3 an hour worth of skill is unable to find work in a $6 an hour minimum job market) and that the only solution EVER offered is an increase in minimum wage…..all of these truths are going to come to light quite soon, and for the simplest and most obvious of reasons:

They are true.

I’ll be the first to call Glen Beck a quack, but truth spoken by a liar is still truth, as it is when spoken by a saint, a sinner or a madman.

Once America comes down from the endorphin rush of 9/11 and realize that we are not special, or smarter, or harder workers than people in other countries, we are all just people….it will occur to us that policies and governmental forms that have been tried and failed in the past will not magically just work here because it’s the US. Socialism is socialism whether you paint it red and black, white and black, or red white and blue….and no matter what color you paint it a broken car won’t just start and drive away.

Trying to talk sense to the average American can leave you walking away feeling hopeless and surrounded by idiots, but truthfully…we are the same as any other people. We are easily frightened, and when frightened we give ear to the most ludicrous of lies if spoken in a calm reassuring manner. But sooner or later the paint will peel, we will see the broken car for what it is under the myriad layers of “bailouts”, “stimulus packages” and whatever other snake oils a politician can sucker people into paying their closest business associates; all in our best interest of course). I have to believe that we will come to once again crave the freedom that comes from being responsible for ourselves, our decisions, and this glorious gift of Life we so often seem to just want someone to push the mute button on. Then and only then will the USA once again become America: The Land of the Free

Good stuff, I hope you keep writing.

I’m not much for believing in grand conspiracies and I try to stay clear of them. I don’t think (And I don’t think you do either) that the pro man-made global warming crowed are evolved in a conspiracy to deceive, rather, I just think that the global warming agenda fits in very well with agendas which were formed long ago in the hearts of many people. The businessman has been trying to find a new angle to get people to buy a certain brand of paint, he starts advertising it as, “Good for the earth paint” and he finds a new market. A politician is trying to stand out from his challenger, he accuses his competitor of having a, “Poor track record in protecting the environment” because his competitor is pro business and on and on.

Whenever I can, I engage people who believe in man made global warming in conversation. The vast, vast majority of people who believe in man made global warming have absolutely never taken a look at the science supporting the whole climate change hysteria. I understand that polls show that there is now a majority of people who distrust global warming claims so perhaps the truth is getting out, let’s hope.

It is ironic, Hindsight, that you speak about socialism existing in the US when all of the problems you bring up (education, healthcare, bailouts, etc) have been happening under a CAPITALISTIC government.

While I do not believe in a pure socialist government, I can tell you as fact that all those idiots (Beck, Limbaugh, FOX, etc) who are yelling that this country is BECOMING socialist, are in fact, pulling the wool over people like you and paulie4. They are directing your attention to what might happen while not emphasizing what has already happened; ie: an unimpeded capitalist society creates a huge gap between the haves and the have nots. Limbaugh, Beck, and all those guys are mulit-millionaires who have nothing but contempt for their audience, but their audience are too ignorant to see it.

PS: You say that the US will once again become America: The Land of the Free? My question to you is—the land of the free for WHO? (It sure was NOT the land of the free for non-whites and women until the last 40 or so years—but it was surely the land of the free for white males—still is, but you now have to share that freedom with others.)

One thing that I really like about your posts, Farkie, is that they are full of statements that I could write about for hours. My problem is always picking out which part of your posts to respond to.

I don’t know of any place in the world that exists today, or that has ever existed, where there was not a “gap between the haves and have nots.” I can tell you that I would rather be a have not in the U.S. than any place in the world. I think that one of the main differences between haves and have nots in the U.S. vs other nations is that the have not in America lives in a state of almost unlimited potential for upward mobility and statics point this out. A have not in the U.S. who simplify decides that he is willing to sacrifice to improve his/her life will almost assuredly be able to. A have not in most other places on earth however is locked into their lot in life due to birth, etc.

We should be asking ourselves, “What system of economics allows the most people to live the best lives possible AND who should decide what type of life is best for a citizen, the individual or the government?” I contend that capitalism has vastly improved the lives of every nation which has gone the capitalistic path. I do not contend that every single citizen living in a capitalistic system is fat dumb and happy. I also contend that the more government gets evolved, the more socialist a countries economic system becomes, the worse off the people become. There are many reasons for this, most of them involve basic human nature. For example: Hard as it is to believe, there are lots of people who, upon realizing that they can exist at a basic level without working, decide not to work! They examine their chances at upward mobility and weigh them against a day at the beach surfing and choose surfing. Another problem with socialism is that when government becomes the source of wealth and power in a nation all the “Greedy” people who would have gone into business (And benefited others) in a capitalistic system, go into government. The government becomes rife with people out to increase their own power and wealth. Societies with lots of government have lots of corruption.

I’d like to end by asking you, where in the world do you get the idea that the U.S. is a place of unrestricted capitalism? Why don’t you ask ANY business owner how he/she feels about government regulation? In my job I need at least four licenses from the Federal Government, I must answer to two Federal Government oversight bodies, there are hundreds of laws written just for people in my business, I’m required to complete government mandated, “Training” every year, I must pay the Federal Government every year just to stay in business! I don’t think I’m alone in all this, I talk to lots of business people and they all tell similar stories. The U.S. is by no means a place of unimpeded capitalism …if it was our GDP would be easily four times as high as it’s been and our unemployment about 1 percent. Government interference robs the American people daily.

It is a shame that you repeat the same old libertarian garbage as Limbaugh and Beck. Basing your information from these two individuals gives you zero credibility. Limbaugh and Beck are so-called recovering drug addicts and alcoholics; Limbaugh actually stated on his show several times that people who are hooked on prescription drugs should be put in jail, yet, this hypocrite later got busted for gaining prescription drugs illegally.

Beck (who seems to the the vanilla flavor of choice for conservatives) is a so-called recovering alcoholic and illegal drug user (which he states broke up his first marriage), and now he is a mormon (which has a terrible history when involving non-white people; the mormon doctrine against blacks did not change until 1979, when God allegedly visited the mormon elders and told them that it was wrong to discriminate against blacks).

The problem with your arguments paulie4 is that they are based on things that not even the people who preach them believes in!

The only freedom that is under attack in this country is the freedom to learn and understand. Instead we have a bunch of fear-mongers who want to cloud the issues not with solutions, but with fear of solutions.

I traveled to Utah a few times to visit my Mom’s relatives and to be honest, it’s quite homogeneous except for Salt Lake City and area. But I never observe the kind of racism against black people or other races associated with the Jim Crow era South nor the urban ghettos of the North & the gang-ridden pre-WWII era suburbs in Cal.

The Mormon or LDS church is a global organization to done missionairy work in every continent of the world, whether it’s in Scandinavia or eastern Asia, Africa or Mexico, Canada and eastern Europe. The LDS succeeded the most in the Pacific islands like Samoa (both American & western isles) recovering from last night’s tsunami.+

I wanted to have sex with my pet cat with no judgemental eyes against me so I traveled to Utah a few times to visit my Mom’s relatives and to be honest, it’s quite homoerotic, except for Salt Lake City and area. I have had sex with my cousins there several times while their. We even had a threesome with my cat Mr Whiskers.
