lol idk if this was a joke or not but if it wasnt, a non profit organization isnt a corporation or a business that fails at making profits!
it is an organization that does not issue stock shares, or sell something or provide a service in exchange for a profit. but instead uses the funds that go for a good cause. So they fundraise money, through donations, from the government or both and use it for their cause and also to pay their staff that help run the organization.

Hmmm, I don’t think this is accurate at all. I have found that ALL of the nonprofit orgs that I've worked for here in Los Angeles to be extremely diverse, especially if compared to corporate America. And as far as accountability and pressure, there is certainly much of both. You are not pressured by shareholders or customers but rather donors and whoever you serve. Working the nonprofit sector can also be very demanding. Even if you work in one department you will also be working in several other ones. For example a person that works in Public Relations, will also have responsibilities in fundraising, event planning, pretty much anything that comes up! Non Profits are always understaffed so we wear many hats and are very over worked and usually underpaid. Competitive salaries only happen when it is a well known, very well-funded nonprofit. … FYI… PS I am not white.

I have a sense of humor; nevertheless, I think accuracy is what makes these articles so funny.

Please point me in the direction of a nonprofit organization wherein “you don’t have accountability or pressure”… I would be relieved to be only responsible for delivering profit to shareholders. It beats qualifying “outcomes” and quantifying R.O.I. for multiple stakeholders from multiple, often overlapping funding sources…

White people, well all people, also enjoy http://www.NakedHipster.com. Mainly because the girls are hot and don’t have clothes on. Usually those two things go well together. You know, the hotness and the nakedness.
