I have lived in an area of prominently white people for all my life and I only have maybe 2 black friends. To top it all off i happen to be really smart (high 90′s) so i don’t really talk yo the other black kids in my school. It’s ironic how most of these white kids think all black people always call each other the n-word and know about the ghetto. I’ve never been to the ‘ghetto’ in my life nor do I swear or do drugs.

I’m what you would call a “mutual black friend”. It’s because I live in an affluent, mostly white area, so there aren’t that many black people around. But I don’t know anything about gang signs and stuff, sorry. I grew up in the suburbs, not the hood. Actually, I never been to the hood. My parents don’t associate with people there. I’m a freshman in high school, and most of the black kids at my school are popular, but they are kind of ghetto. I’m one of the nerd kids, so I don’t really hang out with them. However, I do have other black friends, but they don’t like to be around me because they say that I act white. I get offended by that, cuz that statement is sooo racist!
