#20 Being an expert on YOUR culture

White people are pretty conflicted about their culture. On one hand, they are proud of the art, literature, and film produced by white culture. But at the same time, they are very ashamed of all the bad things in white culture: the KKK, colonialism, slavery, Jim Crow laws, feudalism, and the treatment of native americans.
One way they can make up for it is becoming marginally acquainted with foreign cultures. It is generally acceptable for a white person to learn a few terms in a language spoken primary by non-whites (such as Chinese, Tagalog or Portuguese). They can then use these phrases to order certain ‘more authentic’ dishes in restaurants.
White people can also take passing interest in film, politics, music or art from these countries. When they actually meet someone from that country, or at least who has parents from that country they cannot wait to engage you in all the details that they have learned.
“Have you heard the new Andy Lau CD? It’s awesome!”
It is imperative that you recognize how special and unique this white person is for knowing about your culture. Acceptable responses include “Wow, I’ve never seen a white person order chicken feet,” or “How did you find about that film? I didn’t think they had dubbed it yet.”
These responses will fill white people with that self satisfaction they need. Also, they consider a reminder that they are not racist, which also makes them feel terrific.

yeah, running the country is a huge punishment. only white people complain that they’re being persecuted for no reason. nevermind the lack of evidence of persecution(unlike for example the juducial system, which is totally set up so minorities fill up the prisons). honestly, racism within non white culture is solved in a very simple manner: just fuck up whoever insulted you.
This is true in asia whites are treated with respect aswell, it’s only in norh america where whites are being punished for what their ancestors did. And for the most part its white people who are doing it. The visible minorities are just enjoying the benefits, can’t really blame them we’re doing it to ourselves, hopefully we’ll wake up soon before it’s too late.
Also English is not my first language. So please excuse the above post if it is hard to understand.
You are still aware that besides some isolated incidents the (unofficial in most cases) racial system put in place in Africa (especially South Africa), Brazil, and France still places Blacks and other non-whites at a lower rung on the social ladder than those of ‘white’ skin complexion or ‘European blood.’
And really what have you had to ‘fight for’, was it the general trend for most of the world’s society to automatically place you at a higher level in the social caste system worldwide? Perhaps it’s how most of the wealth in the world is in the hands of a only a few-predominantly white- men? Could it also be how subconsciously in most ’1rst world societies’ whiteness is deemed with goodness whereas blackness or ‘non-whiteness’ is deemed to be inferior (see the numerous tests done on this.)
Still, we should note that overcompensating this by ‘reverse’ racism is not the way to get a solution to racial tensions.
cheers bro, I’m glad their are still some smart people left. Another thing people don’t realize is that it was the arabs who started the slave trade, white just bought them. And look at the situation in Africa now the white are being opressed by the blacks. You’re right is all bullshit but don’t worry whites will always be ok, because we can adapt to any and all situations and climates so you other races better learn to live with it, peace.

Why do we have call blacks African American but no one would ever consider calling whites europen americans? Most blacks have been in this contenent longer then most whites. And if a white even stands up for himself after being discriminated against he or she is deemed the racist. White people have to fight for everything we’ve ever had and you non whites can’t accept that, you think we just handed to us. It’s all bullshit I’m proud to be of Europen blood and if anyone has a problem with that go f*#ck yourself!
