Man, you’re so stereotyping…. Where are those white women who want to live idealized lives and ride a bike to the bakery in the morning? I never saw any in my entire life spent among them…. may be one in Portland, OR.
Those who ride bikes in the city (versus in a park) are setting themselves up for cancer and heart disease as they’re getting a good dose of toxic car exhaust. Yikes.

Hey, I am an African American female who loves to ride my bike, in fact I enjoy it so much that I have never learned how to drive. White people are not the only ones who enjoy the serenity of riding a great bike. I’m just saying….

@c, I’m an American, living in the mid-Atlantic. Our weather is less romantic than yours. I own a car, but instead I ride my city bike as much as possible to avoid traffic, for my fitness, and in nice weather, for enjoyment. You are better off riding in less desirable weather, than becoming a fat, type II diabetic, slug, like most Americans. In the land of un-walkable big box stores and bloated houses, it may be romantic for human legs to be anything more than vestigial.

No way! American white woman want to ride on a bike in Europe?! Well, I happen to be average Dutch girl who has to ride every day 11 km to get to school, nothing romantic about that when it’s minus 5 degrees Celsius. Yeah, we don’t wear helmets and keep in shape. But I cant drive a car, otherwise I wouldn’t cycle that much.

I don’t know to many 100% white people so more than likely your making fun of yourself by bashing somebody who probably posses similiar genetics to whom it may concern. I ride a road bike and a mountain bike. I ride road to and from work to stay in shape for motocross/hills riding. I ride a mountain bike to sooth my moto X feen when i can’t twist a throttle. O and i’d rather be on a $5,000 than a $500 bike when coming off a 20ft drop. People who have the guts to do something like that can contest. While riding MX i’m busy ripping apart the earth and flipping off the nerdy tree huggers that try to stop me along the way, it’s a waste of your time. Go talk to the nuclear powerplant dudes. If your only mode of transportation is a bike,bus, or train more than likely your in college or too poor to afford your own car. O yeah F@ck that stupid spandex shit!
