This post is referring to a certain type of white devil the urbanized, hipster, educated, cultured, middle class kind. I don’t like this set too much. If you dance around them, they tend to grasp their cans o’ Pabst just a little tighter and it gets pretty tense. (God I hate San Diego.)

The post is correct. Proper white people want to listen to the music live without all that nonsense. Chairs are for sitting, and are much more comfortable than standing. And hopping around like a bunch of monkeys is so low brow! Have a little respect for yourself! You CAN overcome your lesser urges and join us in the civilized world!

Um, I’ve been to a few “white” rock concerts, and not once did I see most people standing still. A lot of my friends and I go in the mosh, and you sure as hell don’t stand still there! In fact, most “white” rock concerts are incredibly active in some sense, and the band will even encourage it with interacting with the crowd in some way, the “white” band I might add.

The only time I’ve ever been to a show and NOT danced was when I had broken my ankle and was on crutches… even then I was still swaying back and forth a little but never just standing around…

If you’re going to a concert to just stand around then you are obviously in the wrong place… Music is ment to move the body and there isn’t anything better than getting a good work out while hearing great tunes and flailing around like you’ve just eaten 6 hits of acid…

as far as the Ecstasy side note: If the music is good enough, you don’t need drugs to enjoy yourself.

If you do need ecstasy to have a good time then that means the lights are better than the beats coming out of the speakers.

Nonsense, I’ve seen “white people” freakin’ dance till they drop….literally. I’m the dancing person on the concert, really I have never seen a person stand still during a live performance. I like to think it is pointless going to a concert if you’re going to stand still during a music performance. Heck, I pay a lot of money to go a concert so I might as well literally dance till I drop.

Also, it depends what kind of musical performance you’re at. Say Opera or a musical performance by artists who play violins and guitars, you can not actually expect a person to just stand up and randomly dance to the violin in the middle of the performance….lol. The watchful audience will not only hate the random dancing bloke on a violin concert but will murder the bloke with eyes that kill. Lmao.
