#75 Threatening to Move to Canada
February 24, 2008 by clander
Often times, white people get frustrated with the state of their country. They do not like the President, or Congress, or the health care system, or the illegal status of Marijuana. Whenever they are presented with a situation that seems unreasonable to them, their first instinct is to threaten to move to Canada.
For example, if you are watching TV with white people and there is a piece on the news about that they do not agree with, they are likely to declare “ok, that’s it, I’m moving to Canada.”
Though they will never actually move to Canada, the act of declaring that they are willing to undertake the journey is very symbolic in white culture. It shows that their dedication to their lifestyle and beliefs are so strong, that they would consider packing up their entire lives and moving to a country that is only slightly different to the one they live in now.
Within white culture, it is agreed upon that if Canada had better weather it would be a perfect place.
Being aware that this information can be used quite easily to gain the trust of white people. Whenever they say, “I’m moving to Canada,” you must immediately respond with “I have relatives in Canada.”
They will then expect you to tell them about how Canada has a perfect healthcare system, legalized everything, and no crime. Though not true, it will reassure them that they are making the right choice by saying they want to move there.
But be warned, they will reference you in future conversations and possibly call on you to settle disputes about Canadian tax rates. So use this advice only if you plan to do some basic research.
Note: Canadian white people threaten to move to Europe.
Note: Europeans are unable to threaten to move anywhere.

I am one of those disaffected Americans, until today, I didn’t know that my whiteness was part of the cause. Thank you.
bwahahahahahaahahahahahaha….. omg… poor bastards!!!
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my country- but FACK it’s cold!!!
Most Canadians who are unhappy about their lot threaten to move to the west coast, but will stop for a few months in Alberta to make some money along the way … like maybe in Fort McMurray where they can work on the rigs for awhile eh?
People in Western Canada, particularly the West Coast are smart enough to know that you cannot improve on their life-style by moving anywhere East of the the Okanagan.
The Vancouver is riddled with crime gangs, drugs, gays, homeless people and communists, but isn’t that what makes a place worth living in?
Ok, I live in a triple-digit hot summer climate in the Cal desert by Palm Springs…where we have Canadians in th winter months. But to find work in the oil rigs in Northern Alberta…the climate is very cold, below zero temps are the norm half a year and above the arctic circle means mostly dark days in the winter. Calgary and Edmonton have the most U.S. expatriates, mostly came to work in petroleum industry, and some descendants of American farm settlers in the early 20th century.
Vancouver is just as rainy as Seattle, also a hot bed of youth gangs, drug trafficking and illegal immigration to remind Americans of New York, Miami and most of California. Is Alberta the most conservative province of Canada, and threatened to secede in the past 40 years? Manitoba and Saskatchewan reminds me of the upper Midwest and the great Plains, while Alberta is the Canadian “Texas” of oil fields, cattle ranches and a sense of rural western life. +
nice….comparing gays to gangmembers and drugs.
don’t forget what Vancouver has a lot of too….BIGOTS.
if that was sarcasm, apologies.
if not,blow me.
But how can you live in a place where 2 doors down a man could be sodomizing another man. HOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I am pretty sure European Whites (at least the “right kind”
is threatening to move to Australia.
=D
It is actually New Zealand
I’d just move for Tim Horton’s. Mmm… doughnuts!
Tim Horton’s is now American! :-=
NO WAY, Tim’s will always be Canadian, the chain only expanded into the US. Anyways I’m Canadian with Latino heritage, and I like most of the stuff on the list! I am definitely not in tuned with my b/g, and most of my friends are white, should I be ashamed that I’m not into my own culture?
No, really, it’s American. It was purchased by Wendy’s International Inc. years ago. That’s right, that great symbol of Canadian culture is American-owned.
Screw this, I’m moving to Australia.
Tim Hortons Inc. is a Canadian fast food restaurant known for its coffee and doughnuts. It was founded in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario by Canadian hockey player Tim Horton.[3] In 1967 Horton partnered with investor Ron Joyce, who quickly took over operations and expanded the chain into a multi-million dollar franchise.
Tim Hortons franchises spread rapidly and along with Subway, eventually overtook McDonald’s as Canada’s largest food service operator. The company opened twice as many Canadian outlets as McDonald’s[4] and system-wide sales also surpassed those of McDonald’s Canadian operations as of 2002.[5] The chain accounted for 22.6% of all fast food industry revenues in Canada in 2005.[4] Tim Hortons commands 76% of the Canadian market for baked goods (based on the number of customers served) and holds 62% of the Canadian coffee market (compared to Starbucks, in the number two position, at 7%).[6] Tim Hortons had 2,917 restaurants in Canada and 520 in United States for a total of 3,437 as of December 28, 2008.[7]
Tim Hortons also has an international presence including 500 outlets in the United States as of December 2008, including one opened in Detroit and owned by former NBA player Derrick Coleman and one on a military base outside Kandahar, Afghanistan.[8][9][10] Tim Hortons’ other international expansions include a small outlet at the Dublin Zoo. Tim Hortons also made a deal with the SPAR convenience store chain in the UK and Ireland, resulting in Tim Hortons coffee and doughnuts being sold at small self service counters in 16 SPAR stores.
Sorry all. It is Canadian.
In 1992, the owner of all Tim Hortons and Wendy’s Restaurants in Prince Edward Island, Daniel P. Murphy, decided to open new franchise outlets for both brands in the same building in the town of Montague. Murphy invited Joyce and Wendy’s chairman Dave Thomas to the grand opening of the “combo store”, where the two executives met for the first time and immediately established a rapport.
Murphy’s success with combining coffee and doughnuts with Wendy’s fast food led to the August 8, 1995, acquisition of and merger with TDL Group by Wendy’s International, Inc., an American company.[16] Joyce became the largest shareholder in Wendy’s, even surpassing Thomas. TDL Group continued to operate as a separate subsidiary from its head office in Oakville, Ontario, although Joyce eventually retired from active management to pursue other interests.
Sweet i always threaten to move to Ireland, and Canada is awesome, and the perfect place to live even with the weather, summer is only two months, so excluding the in-between time, that’s still a good 6 – 8 months of snowboard
summer is only 2 months? are you retarded?
I’m pretty sure summer, though always seemingly fleeting, is around four or five months. Also I wish to point out that the vast majority of Canadians live along the southern boarder. Which means that the majority of Canadians you meet, and the best probable place you will live once moving to Canada, will have weather like New York City (Halifax), Seattle (Vancouver), New England (most of the Maritimes) etc…
P.S You know, there are rain forests in Canada too.
Living on the other side of Lake Ontario from Toronto in the US, I think it is best summed up from a neighbor of mine:
“I really hope summer falls on the weekend this year”
The weather in Toronto is about the same as here, though we get lots more snow.
That’s it, I’m moving to Canada.
im indo-canadian but i threatened to move to iceland, and denmark.
lmao
canada rules.
OMG,I didn’t know that comment was common!
On the US election day, I swore if those two idiots won the election (McCain/Pallin), I would be leaving for Canada the
next morning
white female, married to a Hispanic!
haha, I’m from Canada and I always threaten to move to Spain when I am mad at Harper etc. I don’t even know anything about Spain!
We Canucks usually just threaten to move somewhere warmer (usually after our car gets stuck in a snowbank).
I would just like to add, as a Londoner (UK) that most white -i.e. English, people in England threaten to move to Spain, Canada or Australia. And it’s all to get away from the immigrants. Ironic, don’t you think?
Canada has more immigrants than Spain+England combined.
Over 20% or one-fifth of Canadians are foreign-born, the leading developed nation in percentage of immigration, and twice of the U.S.’ own rate of 11%, unless illegal immigrants aren’t counted in the statistics. +
I can confirm that this is true. I wish all Brits who threatened to move to Costa Del Basildon or poor old Australia actually would do so, it would improve the average quality of resident multifold!
well it reverses the situation
I’d live in Vancouver for sure. Not quite as sure about the rest of it…
