#75 Threatening to Move to Canada
February 24, 2008 by clander
Often times, white people get frustrated with the state of their country. They do not like the President, or Congress, or the health care system, or the illegal status of Marijuana. Whenever they are presented with a situation that seems unreasonable to them, their first instinct is to threaten to move to Canada.
For example, if you are watching TV with white people and there is a piece on the news about that they do not agree with, they are likely to declare “ok, that’s it, I’m moving to Canada.”
Though they will never actually move to Canada, the act of declaring that they are willing to undertake the journey is very symbolic in white culture. It shows that their dedication to their lifestyle and beliefs are so strong, that they would consider packing up their entire lives and moving to a country that is only slightly different to the one they live in now.
Within white culture, it is agreed upon that if Canada had better weather it would be a perfect place.
Being aware that this information can be used quite easily to gain the trust of white people. Whenever they say, “I’m moving to Canada,” you must immediately respond with “I have relatives in Canada.”
They will then expect you to tell them about how Canada has a perfect healthcare system, legalized everything, and no crime. Though not true, it will reassure them that they are making the right choice by saying they want to move there.
But be warned, they will reference you in future conversations and possibly call on you to settle disputes about Canadian tax rates. So use this advice only if you plan to do some basic research.
Note: Canadian white people threaten to move to Europe.
Note: Europeans are unable to threaten to move anywhere.

I’m from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ( one of the most gorgeous places I’ve been to, and my friends and I always joke that we’re going to move to Australia.
Can we start another discussion about white people? People who threaten to drive over the Mexican Border.
I’m hearing a lot of that from people in Arizona and Texas. There’s plenty of white people in Mexico, don’t think it isn’t an option.
I’d love to hear from people who moved to Mexico. I’m about an hour from the Mexican Border, and sometimes, it looks really really good.
I’m seeing new cars with Mexican license plates a lot, and the people driving them aren’t too shabby either – rather hip looking – in fact, a whole lot hipper than Vancouver.
Mexico may just be a secret.
So true, where do “cheap” American retirees with dismal retirement checks end up? San Felipe, for example about a hour south of the US-Mexican border in Baja California on the Sea of Cortez (a.k.a. Gulf of California). The US dollar goes further in Mexico, nice climate and beach property. +
“Europeans are unable to threaten to move anywhere.”
lol
Canada is our Solla Sollew.
I WANT A MILLION DOLLARS!!! Can one million RICH WHITE PEOPLE send me one dollar apiece, puh-lease????
I don’t want money from any Asians, or Blacks or Hispanics. You guys NEED your money. I only want one dollar apiece from RICH WHITE PEOPLE who seem to WASTE their time and money threatening to move to Canada.
Waste it on me instead. Thanks so much! (First person who comments “You ARE a waste.” is a rotten egg. You thought it. I know you did. Stop lying. See? I knew it.)

Canada is multi-national, that’s why some White People prefer it. The U.S. is not multi-national, despite it’s claim to be one.
Canada welcomes everybody, so if you want to go, just fill out an application and wait for your entry visa. It takes about a year or two. Some people camp out along the border.
Do not move to Canada and then fill out the application. That will not get you into Canada permanently. In fact, that will slow down your entry visa.
You can also live in Canada for 6 months with no permanent visa, which isn’t half bad at all. Just leave when Winter comes along.
There are plenty of apartments that will rent a 6 month lease to you. If you want a work permit, apply for one.
Canada is a larger replica of California, where “minorities” and “foreigners” never assimilate or simply stop being who they are. Bigoted right-wing racists in America want to live in Canada??? Oh man, they are gonna get a reality check. I thought Mexico was more racist, elitist and nationalist when it came to 500-years of complete aristocratic rule by 30 white Spanish families dominating politics, business and culture over 110 million mostly mestizo (mixed white-AmerIndian) people, 20 million of them residing in the US. +
I live in Canada and I already heard a white female that she would move to Swedden, where “things were just normal there”.
Possibly Europeans threaten to move to Australia?
whats with the “white” people say … There are a lot of other people I know that are mexican, and blacks, that lived here in the US and they say the same thing, “Im go to move to Canada” and they did.
Canada is not perfect but they have Rights as what the USA did in the early 1900′s. Their healthcare may not be perfect but people can get health care when they need it and cant and will not be turned down like our insurance business ran healthcare system. Our system (USA) is based on what you can pay for treatment. The first thing a doctors office here in the USA asks do you have health insurance?. No, then the office visit now as of 2009 is $100.00 USD a visit. When I had company health insurance the office visit was $20.00 USD and perscriptions pay of 20% of cost.
My uncle that lives in Quebec Canada had a major operation on his back to remove cancer cells. Guess the cost. My cousin was skateboarding and broke his arm in two places and gone to emergency room they fixied him up with a wropping huge bill of $0.00 , thats right! nothing!!. The bill for my Uncle was also nothing because the government collects a tax (Not federal but prov. Gov) that goes for healthcare. The great thing is that you cant be turned down by any insurance company because its government that pays the bill, 2nd you can pick the doctor you want to go to, there are private doctors too that you can pay if you want (Quebec) . I know, I am a Canadian after all and lived there for a while and I plan to move back up there in couple of weeks. Thank You.
Oh, My mother she needs a operation here in Florida and is 100% American from Illinois. Because she had cancer when she was younger and is diabetic(today) this disqualified her of her health insurance that she paid in for years and now that she needs it they denied her. She can get help in Canada but she will need to be living up there for six month and one day to be covered while on residence status, If Canada can take a person and cover them with a medical problem do you think that our Health Care system needs to be worked upon. Obama wants a govenment ran health care system but the congress is debating on it and how to fund it. Well we have medicare tax, also tax money that is currently goes into the Health department. What does the health Department do?. Tax money goes down the drain.
Thank You,
Health care is awesome here, and unfortunately many of us (I’m Canadian) take it for granted. You are right on the money though Dan – you get broken here, stop by a hospital. They will fix you up for $0.00 and send you on your way.
I have a friend in the US who lost his father to cancer because of the health care issue. They could afford to get him treated, but at the point the medical system decided to do something about it – it was a decision to get treatment which may not work anyway and would leave the family broke …. or just die and ensure the family was financially stable. I’m not saying all cases are like this in the States, but in this particular case it just made me sit back and say … FK, guess we don’t have it so bad in Canada after all. Something like this would have never happened around here.
PS … Quebec, Montreal in particular, is the most excellent city I have played in!! I’m from Ontario, near Toronto. I love Mtl !!
I hear that Cuba isn’t too shabby either, in fact, I’m thinking about going there now that it’s not a Federal offense.
what a coincidence that you wrote you comment here! I am also originally Canadian but lived in Miami for most of my life and for the past 7 years in Jupiter,FL. I have been trying to move back to Miami for years, but just recently started to feel like I have to move back to Montreal. I can’t explain it and I really feel torn. I’m getting ready to put my house up for sale here and now I don’t know where I’m going tomove. All my common sense is telling me to move back to Canada but I havent been back since I was 17,and I’m now 43.
i’m from canada, and i’ve never once heard anybody say they’d move to europe.
my parents threatened to move to canada if bush got re-elected. we looked pretty foolish on november 5th,2004.
Or petition to secede from the union, take a look at the blueest and now reddest states for doing so. I wanna be a citizen of the Republic of California or Southern Californian Republic. Nah, Vermont is more “green” or Libertarian, and Texas is more “white” or Christian. In fact, Hawaii waves the rainbow flag of racial diversity and “gay-friendly” laws, and why can’t Sarah Palin become president of the Nation- state of Alaska? Let’s see if the 51st state proposal for Puerto Rico ever passes, but the US’ territorial rule over Guam, Saipan, American Samoa and the US virgin islands won’t last long. Any American takers wanna move there? +
