#92 Book Deals

The combination of white people and books has been a pretty solid combo for the past few hundred years. So whenever a white person is given a chance to write a book, it’s considered a pretty big deal. This is especially true when it happens to someone who started a blog that they never expected to reach more than 100 people.
Our research has slowed in recent weeks as we worked out the details, but Stuff White People Like are proud to announce that our textbook on white people is becoming a reality.

The book will feature 2/3 all new content and is going to be released by Random House in August.
But that does not mean that the site will stop examining the stuff that white people like.

I totally love you blog! It is by far one of the greatest and most HA larious things I have ever wasted my time doing! I have figured out a system in reading so that I can space it out during the work week (that I of course spend in a cubical)! Oh man I hate big corperations and daily I think about how much I wish I was wearing my 10 year old disgustingly cool Converse T!!! Thank you for you humor and also a big thank you to everyone who doesn’t get this blog you are effing hilarious! While I ‘m thanking people thank you also to the people who DO get this blog but waste their time writting to the people who don’t you are also almost equally as funny as the confused people!!! The blogging is done with a great insight, humor and awesome writting, but the site as whole would not be as great without all the comments!

We will be at the store of white men, borders, to read your book.
We love Borders or Barnes and Nobles so much that we are dying with them in their cash flow.
Actually, I will pick up the book at the other white people store – Target. White people love that place.
Actualy both of you guys are waaayyyy off.
White People love independent bookstores and will go to great lengths (that’s about 2.5 miles in their Pruis/1997 Volvos) to avoid shopping at chain bookstores (even though they do end up buying most of their stuff from there.)
