In Ohio, where I’m from, there are just as many “i know better than you” white people bumper stickers from the other side of the political spectrum, bragging that the drivers “don’t believe the liberal media,” or are some degree of proud Redneck. Also loads of pro-life stickers, pro-troops stickers, and the associated ribbons for troops.

since these are ALSO almost exclusively white people, it seems too bad that you don’t apply your irony to those people as well.

I find that so common-class and tacky, which goes hand in hand with their love for bumper stickers.

As a language teacher, this ticks me off. I no longer have my country sticker with the letter D for Deutschland. I traded it for something more original. Does that make me “white”?
