Oh, what jornalism! Black people complaining that their formerly crime & drug ridden neigborhoods have become too white, and they are sympathetic figures in the article (while white guy w/ helmet is the evil interloper). Imagine if the tables were turned and white person complained about too many blacks in their formerly low crime area (which would at least be understandable). White person would be painted as an unenlightened racist. No wonder most major city newspapers are near extinction. What BS. And yet another reason to hate both Portland and the NYT.

you’re all full of it. As a brother…I’m tired of crackers asking the type of questions that, while you answer – they steal from you.

I own a business, had over 50k in the bank, yet it wasnt enough to grow my business until I brought a white front man on board.

All of a sudden everybody wanted to help the business thinking he was the owner. It made me so sick to my stomach.

Eventually, this white person stole, extorted and tried to steal my business from me.

I’ve got to say, it’s white people like you that make this blog so damn funny. I’m white, fully outfitted in technical outdoor gear, I own a pea coat and I live in Portland, but damn. This is comedy. If you don’t get it, that’s okay. Just try to get that you don’t get it.

It’s clearly about Young Liberal White People (I’d throw Pretentious in there too), but that just isn’t as funny of a title. The Young Liberal Pretentious White Person is like the token white stereotype.

If the blog was about Stuff Mexicans Like, the posts would include “sleeping”, “gardening”, and “quesadillas” because talking about the Mexicans who become surgeons just isn’t as interesting.
