I’m white and I have bangs, but I’m certainly not a “popular” girl. My haircut cost only about 20 dollars and sadly I have never had a boyfriend -.- (yet, hopefully).

I do have lots of friends and I love art, but I don’t think me having lots of friends really counts as being popular, at least not the kind of popular I’m thinking of.

I got bangs because my forehead is a tad bigger than most peoples and I became self-conscious of it. I was fine with it until my friends started playfully teasing me, but it still put the thought in my mind and I eventually just decided to get bangs.

I’ve never noticed if white people care about girls with bangs more. To me, it’s not really the outward appearance that matters, a girl can be amazingly beautiful but a total jerk. Anywho, that’s just my opinion.

My hair is very thick. So layers helped me with the shape and bangs are the way to move it from my face. Plus i have bone structure for it, which is very important.
Now if you think that this haircut is very expensive than you are probably living in US. And no it’s not common just for “white” people or “asian” or any other race or ethnicity, nationality. It’s a question of preference and hair type.
