I’ve done internships that actually helped me obtaining a full-time job, but I was lucky enough to have awesome people as bosses.

This article seems to be the way Vancouver works. EVERYBODY offers “internships” , as proof I used to work for a language college that sold “internships” and even my boss knew they were pure shit; photocopying, serving coffee, learning in a “real canadian environment” aka we are using ESL students and other students to get shit done for free. One thing is true, karma’s a bitch. The school now closed cuz it went bankrupt. I think my ex boss might be doing an internship now…
