First of all, it is not music, just somebody talking in a mumbo jumbo incoherent kind of trance about some vague experience they think has affected their life. I do not like it, nor do I need it as any part of my life. I deal with it everyday, as my job entails some inner city work, and I have teens who do love this aspect of spoken communication.

That being said, I have no problem with my kids listening to or liking rap or hip hop. I can live with it, and though its not for me, I hope people who like it enjoy it. I call this live and let live.
