This is a scientific approach to highlight and explain stuff white people like. They are pretty predictable.

what about farmers markets!!

Wow… some of you should really have no idea how hilarious your comments are. What do you really know about being an ethnic minority? Seems a bit ridiculous to claim you know all about the “minority experience” because you were the only white person around when you lived in a country that you could have left at any time. It’s not like you grew up there.
When you say things like that, this book makes a cliche out of you. Just a heads up.

And if your interested in “Stuff Black People Like,” I’ll start writing it today. I think it would be hilarious. I’ll start off with “menthol cigarettes, lotto tickets, fried chicken and grape soda.” Seem racist? Don’t worry. I’m black. And I have no problem laughing at such silly generalizations. For now, you can just check out the 2 seasons of Chappelle’s Show that are on DVD. It’s pretty analogous to this book and blog about white people. Besides… this is all in good fun. If you can’t laugh at yourself, then you’re in for a rough time. It’s 2009.
Peace!

If this is anything to go by…the rub me out and colour me white..

(liking 99.9% of the list…bar coffee)

Hi, London calling. Saw you a few days ago on Sky TV and was interested in the strange coincidence that you were plugging your latest at the convenient time when the notorious BNP leader was appearing on Question Time. I’m just wondering if this is the kind of stuff whites do just to get reactions.

I’m surprised that there is no “pinky-swear” anywhere on your website. Of all the white people I have met, about 90% of them do the “pinky-swear.” Perhaps y’all should look into it…

Or speak in Spanish so no one can understand you

The AmazonKindle TV ads are “puree blanche”, made esp. for white consumers. 60 second online books, made esp. for perceived to those who aren’t known to read/literacy.

Racist cult. Nice one, Me. “Meep” or whatever you shout in a classroom. See me after class. This is a cult, not a class. We believe in our divine super-men racial domination of the world. That’s the motto of the “Hitler Youth” of today.

Have you seen the book “Stuff black people like” ?

Does that trigger the same emotion in you?

If it doesn’t, have you any idea why not?

Live as a white man as an ethnic minority (China for 8 years, Middle East for five years) to correct your thinking.

Try living in Qatar – no Indians or Filipinos allowed in the shopping centers on Thursday night or Fridays.

You don’t know racism and religious intolerance until you live in the Middle East.

I second that. I’ve lived in the Middle East for 8 years. Where I live it’s not as obvious as it is in Qatar, but scratch the surface and it’s quite clear.

Maybe I’m one of a white minority that has been subject to racism, but I agree with You above, “Have you seen the book “Stuff black people like” ?”

Does it really help anybody, as quirky and funny as it may seem on the surface, to make divisions on racial lines? Particularly when those lines generalise a race on socio-economic lines. At a time when Western society is supposed to be working towards “not seeing colour” etc, what on earth does this achieve? White middle-class people who like the things listed know what they like and non-whites or whites in other economic brackets probably don’t care!

The title’s not so funny when racism directed both towards yourself and friends is a daily reality.

Not to mention the sexism.

It’s crazy that you can’t criticise Islam in England anymore – people think it’s like buddhism, or something.

At least the French speak out against Islam when the culture affects women’s freedom.

Not to criticize other religions started in America, plus the post-Nazi holocaust mourning felt in Europe to this day, and finally the self-hate/shame/guilt of white people in europe, America or everywhere.

I live in England and I criticise Islam. Labour ain’t gonna shut me up.

Don’t give into them

What I still fail to understand is a huge flurry at the end. ,
