#6 Organic Food

Because of the balance of global wealth and power, there is a general assumption that white people are pretty shrewd. And for the most part, history has proven this to be true. But white people have one great weakness: organic food.
As seen by the image on the left – when faced with eating food that has been processed and loaded with nitrates, sodium and saturated fat, or organic rat poison, 10/10 they will take the rat poison.
Just like with farmers markets, white people believe that organic food is grown by farmers who wear overalls, drive tractors, and don’t use pesticide. In spite of the fact that most organic food is made by major agribusiness, and they just use it as an excuse to jack up prices, white people will always lose their mind for organic anything. Never mind the fact that if the world were to switch to 100% organic food tomorow, half the earth would die of starvation.
But white people don’t care, just so long as they aren’t eating pesticides they are pretty sure they can live forever.
It’s almost guaranteed that if some Columbian drug lord can start offering “organic” cocaine, he’ll be the richest guy ever.

Wow I cannot believe some of the vulgarity people express through this website! I don’t think there’s anything wrong with going outside the major industrialized food system and starting to eat foods without tons of preservatives, in the end they are a lot more healthier than your highly preserved food.
Do you know why we use hormones and pesticides? Because it works. Let me break it down for you. Now bugs won’t eat our food…. Now we can grow more food and feed more people. Preservatives keep our food from going bad. These things keep us alive… Do you really think people 100 years ago were healthier? You think the average life expectancy in modern countries was this high? Obviously all this food is poisonous and there is a major cover up going on…….right?
People will look for any reason to blame their health and weight problems on anything other than their fat, lazy selves. Our food options are near limitless and our freedoms are the same…. which is probably why the people you know have come so close to killing themselves with Twinkies and McDonald’s.

chuckle, thats funny. We used to go buy eggs from a local farmer because they were cheaper, until this organic nonsense became all the rage. He tripled the price of the exact same eggs and gained a bunch of customers. Not a damn thing different about the eggs but the price. Stupidity has no limits.
The only organic thing I like is my organic yogurt. Everything else tastes horrible IMO.
I live in an extremely blue state that has A LOT of organic groceries. My wife dragged me into a couple. The produce looks sick, everything in the store tastes lousy and is way overpriced. We have a new rule at my house now, nothing organic. Anything with organic on the lable doesn’t even get opened before it hits the trash bin. Of course I don’t speak for the majority of white people.

Sorry, that’s how I get through life. At work, in school and with other people. More of a Californian thing, if I wasn’t in the state of Cal. I wouldn’t be required to, then I’m one of those autistic nerds or something tries to get by in life. I’m a product of my own environment, middle-class people get down on their luck and have to face reality. I share this guy’s sarcastic sense of humor on how he perceives the world through a “white man’s” comical point of view. +
