#6 Organic Food

Because of the balance of global wealth and power, there is a general assumption that white people are pretty shrewd. And for the most part, history has proven this to be true. But white people have one great weakness: organic food.
As seen by the image on the left - when faced with eating food that has been processed and loaded with nitrates, sodium and saturated fat, or organic rat poison, 10/10 they will take the rat poison.
Just like with farmers markets, white people believe that organic food is grown by farmers who wear overalls, drive tractors, and don’t use pesticide. In spite of the fact that most organic food is made by major agribusiness, and they just use it as an excuse to jack up prices, white people will always lose their mind for organic anything. Never mind the fact that if the world were to switch to 100% organic food tomorow, half the earth would die of starvation.
But white people don’t care, just so long as they aren’t eating pesticides they are pretty sure they can live forever.
It’s almost guaranteed that if some Columbian drug lord can start offering “organic” cocaine, he’ll be the richest guy ever.

choosing to eat organic food is a personal choice (just like being a vegetarian or vegan) therefore you shouldn’t guilt people who choose not to partake of that type of eating. it seems like it’s just another thing for people to be self-righteous about. buying/eating organic food is almost a status symbol for some people.
i do not buy organic products because most of the time they’re more expensive than non-organic and i can’t afford it.
Why in the world would you think all white people like organic food? I personally prefere it because I can afford to. It is healthy but more importantly, environmentally friendly. Anyone with an eye on enviromental politics know how important conservation is becoming. Believe me, I am from a narrow minded small town. All black people eat fried chicken. I am so tired of hearing that I could puke. All black and all white is a ridiculous blanket statement.

BTW - It’s Colombia. Columbia is a University in New York City. I fixed the mistake in my excerpt.

My white boy roommate should read this. He is the kind who would prefer to eat the rat poison ’cause it says organic in it. But I think the cocaine he would do just as much, with or without the label…
By the why if you are referring to cocaine from Colombia, it’s Colombian cocaine not Columbian…
