#75 Threatening to Move to Canada
February 24, 2008 by clander
Often times, white people get frustrated with the state of their country. They do not like the President, or Congress, or the health care system, or the illegal status of Marijuana. Whenever they are presented with a situation that seems unreasonable to them, their first instinct is to threaten to move to Canada.
For example, if you are watching TV with white people and there is a piece on the news about that they do not agree with, they are likely to declare “ok, that’s it, I’m moving to Canada.”
Though they will never actually move to Canada, the act of declaring that they are willing to undertake the journey is very symbolic in white culture. It shows that their dedication to their lifestyle and beliefs are so strong, that they would consider packing up their entire lives and moving to a country that is only slightly different to the one they live in now.
Within white culture, it is agreed upon that if Canada had better weather it would be a perfect place.
Being aware that this information can be used quite easily to gain the trust of white people. Whenever they say, “I’m moving to Canada,” you must immediately respond with “I have relatives in Canada.”
They will then expect you to tell them about how Canada has a perfect healthcare system, legalized everything, and no crime. Though not true, it will reassure them that they are making the right choice by saying they want to move there.
But be warned, they will reference you in future conversations and possibly call on you to settle disputes about Canadian tax rates. So use this advice only if you plan to do some basic research.
Note: Canadian white people threaten to move to Europe.
Note: Europeans are unable to threaten to move anywhere.

I’m an american with a home in Canada, I would much rather live there. I’ve lived here most of my life, and visit there quite frequently. Which is the reason I bought a home; now I do have a place to go to when this country collapses.
“They’ve never admitted their envy of America.”
MOST of them do NOT envy america, all you have said is an opinion, not fact. The ones who moved to america are the ones looking to be famous, or make loads of money, which isn’t important! Or they simply don’t have the money to go anywhere else. The reason they move here, is because it’s a cheaper move, and citizenship. Have you EVER looked at the requirements to move to any other country? I’m guessing not. Take Ireland for instance, if you weren’t born there, it’s nearly impossible to move there. In fact you’re only allowed to visit 30 days out of a year, or at least that’s what it used to be. I have NEVER been discriminated in Canada, like these others are saying. I guess it’s the area you pick. You have to be smart and do some research, not just make the move. I am looking into Scotland though, might sell my house in Canada, and buy one there. I have family in Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, so it will be much easier for me. I do know though, I don’t threaten to move and then stay. When I say I’m moving, a month later I’m gone. I stayed 6 months in France during college because of the incompetence of Bush. There are a lot of countries better then The US.
I live in Canada. I always say I’ll move to Australia or New Zealand.
Kinda sour to see Canadian’s comments here-’when Canadian are fed up with Canada, they move to Europe???’
It proves to me Canadian’s inferiority to America. They’ve never admitted their envy of America. Most of the Canadian came from Europe avec ‘the European arrogance’ that justifies discrimination. It was very true to see blatant discrimination in Canada cuz its everywhere.
The fact is Canadian who fed up with Canada, moved to America. So many of them. When Canadian find American moved to Canada, they are all puzzled why they came over to this country while everyone goes into America with hidden implication-’what’s wrong with them??’ or they want to categorize them into ‘something wrong’ agenda for their convenience’ sake.
Personally, I thought it was bit pathetic to see Canadian comments here persistently denying their envy of America. They don’t think to move to Europe. They don’t think Europe has perfect welfare system at all but do wish and plan to move to America.
Yeah, like none of that ever happens in the U.S.
I truly moved. It’s a damn regrettable thing I’ve ever done. I live exactly where the picture has taken. Don’t ever try. Especially if you are allergic to… racial discrimination, raw immigrants or completely separate immigrant communities, higher good price than America, suffocatingly tiny market, corruption-it’s really dark here,…etc.
Among the most, ignorance-absolutely unbelievable. Whatsoever coordinator who has been working for ten years in notable nonprofitable organization doesn’t how to send email http://www.ename@somemail.com
Another spookiest thing I’ve heard, a manager of Starbucks here responds to customers that s/he doesn’t have a name when requested for complaint. “You don’t need my name~”
must be today’s dumbest article.
White Canadians threaten (and do) move to Australia!
