#9 Making you feel bad about not going outside

As mentioned earlier, white people love to be outside. But not everyone knows that another thing they like to do is make people feel bad for wanting to watch sports on TV or play videogames. While it would be easy to get angry at white people for this, remember it is hard wired in their head that the greatest thing a person can do in their free time is to hike/walk/bike outdoors.
Usually, they will see that you are preparing to enjoy your life and they will say “hey, lets go for a hike in the park,” and most people will say “hey, thanks but I’ve been working all week and I’m really excited about watching this game,” and then they will respond “don’t be a lump on the couch, you’re wasting your life away, etc…” If you ignore them, they will eventually go away.
And much like most things with white people – they win both ways. If you decide to go with them, they feel good about getting someone off the couch and “into the fresh air,” and if you don’t decide to go, they can spend their entire time outdoors saying “boy, this is great, X doesn’t know what he/she is missing!” and running on a mix of self-satisfaction, Odwalla juice and muesli.

Although, I love to watch TV and surf online, and my ex-girlfriend was the one who once lived on a mtn and went hiking all the time. And I was the white one.
Outdoors is for animals.
LOL! I just convinced my friend (who is black) to start going for walks more often. Nobody walks anywhere anymore (cept for white people)

They go outside b/c they stay in their offices/cubicles all day long like good little drones for the bossman, finally they are released on Sat/Sun and they love doing it outside. They are hard working greedy boomers who need to buy 100 sneaks and go trekking through europa and get in touch with themselves by going to a theRAPIST for 150.hour.
Finally! I’m white and I hate going outside. Just glad there’s something on this list that I don’t like, I think I could still be the whitest guy alive though

…aha! So..what happems when ‘hearty whitey’ sees you on the sofa about to watch, say a good game of footy (’cos that’s what you’re into and can be found doing exactly that when not watching, say the FA Cup Final (v.v. imp. to footy types..) on said sofa; yep you get the ‘get off the sofa’ talk…
THEN..some time later, when ‘hearty whitey’ is polishing their birkenstocks/subaru or whatever you seize on the whizzo idea of….footy in the park (cos you…etc) with yer mates (images of ‘pint’ afterwards…) – you know, fun exercise, fresh air, a bit of rough and tumble thrown in (aww come on ref, I hardly touched him…) and good humor and decide to invite them along. NOW ‘hearty whitey’ is not so keen on the outdoors, are they…??
Which goes (or at least nudges gently in that direction) that ‘hearty whiteys’ are no more than self absorbed, antisocial, condescending types who have a problem relating to real people (hence the solitary hiking thing with others of the said persuasion). So invite them to play footy in the park and if they do turn up a) be very surprised and b) make sure the ref doesn’t see your ‘challenge’ for the ball. tee hee.

You are really making white people look illiterate. Lots of people hike, bike, and do other fun things outside that you and your friends “defiantly” do outside.
The most important thing is to do whatever you want to do, and feel OK about it. Whether it’s knocking off a bank, or digging your white toes in the white sand on a beach filled with white people… you have to be OK with who you are.
Plus, you are confusingly stupid.

So tell me. Where can I mountain bike in Florida? Or am I mountain-biking just beacuse I am on a mountain bike?

Second: It’s “making YOU feel bad about NOT going outside” not “White people love to hike”
Third, and most importantly: You listed that your friends (all white) like to, quote, “mountain bike” and then later ask,
“Seriously, who the fuck…bikes…?”
So, your rant is worth less than the mountain bike you claim to ride and despise simultaneously.
Apparently terrible grammar and spelling online is fastly becomming one of white people’s favorite things as well.
And you have obviously never been to any mountainous region worth hiking because 90% of the people living in those areas, and 95% hiking them, are white.
